Increasing family togetherness is a goal we help facilitate frequently with our projects. Some parents have done a great job fostering ‘family time’ on the bedroom floor of a house, but have grown tired of the congregation and now want some ‘ME time’ – away. Ok, FAR away. This project converted a large, unfinished attic space into an oasis for the homeowners. Really, more of an ‘escape.’ The primary bedroom on the second floor, surrounded by kids rooms, jumped ship, finding a new home on an upper floor.
