A one-story house in a town predominantly consisting of two-and-a-half story houses from the early 1900’s is a rarity. The homeowners saw merits in traditional styles, as well as mid-century and more contemporary aesthetics. Ultimately we endeavored for a hybrid, blending modern windows and interior pallet with traditional rooflines and exterior materials.
